It’s time to announce a brand new event, coming to your local creative community this Christmas. Introducing ‘Commune’, a Christmas art exhibition and crafts fair associated with Visual Arts at the Bread and Roses. The fair will run on Saturday and Sunday – 12th & 13th December 2015 from 10am till 7pm at St Saviours Church Hall, Lambhay Hill, The Barbican, PL1 2NN, with a fully licensed and well stocked bar brought to you by the Bread and Roses.
Expect to see art work across a range of media by graduate artists curated by Visual Arts as well as mulled wine, cakes from Make at 140 Vauxhall Street, musicians, stalls hosted by craft makers of various disciplines as well as a chance to make your own Christmas cards with a letterpress machine! From glasswork to jewellery, you’ll be treated to lots of local goodies, so there’s no excuse not to support your neighbourhood’s creatives this Christmas.
Hosted by the team of Upgrad, Commune is an opportunity for the community to showcase their talent and creations to the public, as well as a chance to show how social enterprises in the city are helping encourage graduate success and achieve graduate retention.
If you would like to know more, exhibit as an artists and/or sell your work, there are still tables available! But be quick. Contact Owen Finnie, Graduate Engagement Director on firstname.lastname@example.org
